Morris began his real estate journey at 23, designing and developing his first apartment complex. While building a successful 35-year career with UPS, he simultaneously invested in and developed properties throughout the region. After retiring from UPS, Morris now pursues his lifelong passion for real estate full-time.
Real estate runs in Morris's blood—the Nelson family construction company built many of McAllen's notable landmarks including McAllen Hospital, Moore Airbase, JCPenney, the Crow Buildings, and First National Bank Building. This family legacy provides him with unparalleled insight into the area's development and growth.
Morris's greatest strength is his ability to truly listen and understand each client's unique needs. Whether working with first-time buyers, growing families, or those downsizing, he provides patient, honest guidance backed by in-depth knowledge of local market trends, school districts, and community developments. "What excites me most about real estate is the opportunity to help families find a place they can truly call home," Morris shares.
Morris earned his Criminal Justice degree from UT Pan American and attended Texas Tech's School of Business. He's a Chairman's Club Team 2024 member and holds his MSA from 1986.
When not helping clients, Morris enjoys time with his wife, three children, and six grandchildren. An avid outdoorsman, he loves hunting and fishing with friends and takes pride in his 1972 Camaro SS 454. He actively supports local charitable organizations including the United Way, focusing on youth development and veterans.
